The Weather in London
In this small project, I tried to reproduce weather conditions in London. I have used a point dot, which is supposed to be London in a map, as well as rain, snow, growing grass and sun. I kept cartoonish graphics and played more with the transitions and colors which are inspired by Michael Graig-Martin's color palette.

The Weather in London
In my project, I have tried to simply present the daily weather changes in London. I have used shapes and transformed them in relation to color, alpha and time. Main part of my inspiration has been the fact that I am working in front of a big window at my flat, observing from indoors the multiple weather changes in London.
In this small project, I tried to reproduce rain, snow and sun as weather conditions. I have used a point dot, which is supposed to be London appeared in an imaginary map. I tried to generate as many visual interconnections and use as many functions and commands as possible. Climate changes and sky’s transitions, from sunny to cloudy and back, inspired me to create a pulsating background. Background’s pulsating effect led me to use “Lerped” color effect for my rain and try to recreate the way rain looks when falling in a window glass.
London has been translated into a multicolored dot. In this dot I have used purple, red and white , while I have used Sin to mix them and generate the outline shapes of the smaller circles. This dot expands and snow follows as a next weather condition. I have changed the background into a static as I thought that snowy weather has a standard sky shade.
Finally, a green grass grows and a sun, by the end, covers everything as a last part of my project. I have used Map for size and alpha to both grass and sun, and tried to combine those two commands in a productive way. I kept simple and playful texts both at the beginning as well as at the end. I have used no external coding or other sources, I have not asked for a help and my code has been all written by myself. I did not want to use camera as I found that does not match that much with this project, contrariwise, I kept my visual result simple and more cartoonish.
My color palette has been based on Michael Graig-Martin’s artworks. The clear outlines of his images, his multi-color combinations, moreover his topics, has been a great inspiration for my project. Reminded me the first colorful drawings of my youth, where contrast and simplicity has been the main subject of my creations. As coding is something new to me, I thought of linking the inspiration of that age with my computational early stage of production today.
