the digital reinterpretation of the Venus in the classic art history paintings.

This works as a generative piece made from cuts of the original paintings of the Venus. The colours and pixel average show a new way of imaging the Venus.

I want to talk about the possibilities of the digital art. And how to use it as a tool to reflect and rethink.

Technically, the proposal for the project, coded in processing, was to create a generative piece that was at the same time creating and reinterpreting a classic art image through a digital process. For this I used the technique of cutting, and the extraction of pixels from the image. It can thus show the original image and the reinterpretation of the computer, especially focus in the colors.

Personally, I think I workes on a very interesting idea, which is to use the digital medium to represent and reinterpret classic pieces of art. Even tho I am conceous that the level of the code is a very basic. In the begging I would like to work as a generative piece changing over time and getting the pictures directly from the  Google Images. I think it's a good start, and that if I keep working on this idea I'll end up with a really good result.
