Renowned artist, Kyle McDonald, visits MA students and discusses his work
by Theo Papatheodorou
Renowned computational artist, Kyle McDonald, visited the MA in Computational Arts at Goldsmiths today to meet the students, discuss his work and theirs and give an insight into the digital art world.
The students had a chance to sit with Kyle for about two hours and ask questions about his practice and his views on the future of computational art. Moreover, Kyle gave the students feedback on their work.
After the discussion was over, Kyle gave a talk to the rest of the department where he presented his latest projects, gave a frank account of running a creative coding studio and traced his path as an artist, from his early involvement with the Prosessing movement to his latest hacktivism.
